because she is literally looking
down on her.

The close up of the
daughter's face shows that she is rather
blank and expressionless.
This demonstrates that she has little to no
say and no control over the
predicament that her mother is putting
her in. This further shows
the manipulative grip that the mother
has over her
daughter.
Establishing shot
This shot shows the outside
of the house. We gave the
audience a full view of the
home because we wanted to convey
a nice happy looking
household that is normal and not suspicious.
