Chelsea comes across as a sweet and innocent teenage girl. She is also very naive and her passive nature allows her mother to easily manipulate and control her.  Sigrith was best fit to play the role because ultimately she was the most accessible to work with. We all share the same class period and we were able to work out all the planning and scheduling in class with her. Sigrith also has a very upbeat personality, so the part came naturally to her.

Heather is a very dark and manipulative character.  As a mother she is controlling and and conniving to her own daughter. She shows no compassion or love instead she is cold and overbearing.  Kelli was cast as this part because she has a very mature appearance and personality. She carries herself calmly and quietly, so we felt that she would be best fit to play the role of the mother.

Aiden Meyers     Garrett Gruttadauria

The role of Aiden Meyers is Chelsea's average teen boyfriend who has no idea of what awaits him; however, he is intuitive enough to be suspicious. Originally, we recruited someone from the drama department at school to play the part, but due to last minute scheduling conflicts we had to recast the part and my co-director Garrett had to step in to fill the role. He was able to play the part because he is a teenage boy and fit the look.
