Research- The Shining

The Shining is a 1980 horror film, known today as a classic. In the first two minutes of the Shining, all that is shown is a car driving down a scenic highway. The car is seen from arial shots, long distance shots, and wide angle shots. Eerie and ominous music plays in the background as the car drives along. Only the cast names are shown on screen during these first minutes. The budget for the movie was 19 million dollars and it made 44.4 million dollars. The Shining nominated for numerous awards and won the Saturn Award for the best supporting actor. As well as the Saturn Award for best DVD or Bluray collection.
