Project Selection- Film

The main aspect of film that would interest me is writing out a story and bringing it to life visually. A film allows the audience to see inside the mind of the writers and directors. This can bring even more depth and detail into a story line and script. Films can also have an instrumental role in influencing the way society and cultures think. Creating a film can also allow people to connect over common interests and relate to each other. The film project could work for me because I enjoy the creative process, but a challenge for me would be the stress. After watching the making of Ferris Bueller's Day Off I saw John Hughes' stress and impatience over the entire film production.  Everything from  casting the characters, wardrobe malfunctions, and meeting deadlines created tension and anxiety; however, in the end all the hard work and chaos paid off.
